Mechanical advantage is the amplification of input force gained by using a took, device or machine system. These tools and techniques have been used by humans to achieve great feats of architecture, construction and transportaton. Manipulating the force generated by the human body, increasing it and directing it through mechanical advantage (MA) is a useful art and science.
