General Tree Care

Tree care is about more than trimming branches. It requires the expertise of certified arborists and trained technicians who understand how trees grow and how to recognize structural weaknesses, protect trees from damage, and care for them year-round.

We protect your trees, adding to the beauty of your property and the value of your home. We take a holistic approach to keep your trees growing strong. Look at each of our general tree care services below or contact us to learn more about how we can preserve and, if necessary, restore the health and beauty of your trees.

Tree Support Systems

Tree Support Systems

Even the largest and most well-established trees can have weak portions. Weak portions that aren’t properly addressed can be dangerous and put your property and family at risk. Our trained technicians use cabling and bracing techniques to help support and strengthen these weak portions that will greatly reduce the dangers to you and your property.

Tree Lightning Protection Systems

Tree Lightning Protection Systems

We can give your trees the best possible care and they’ll stay healthy and strong for decades. But all it takes is one lightning strike to devastate even your largest and most mature trees. To protect your trees from lightning strikes, we can install a tree lightning protection system. These systems capture and conduct the lightning’s tree-damaging electrical current to the ground rather than through your tree. Our ISA-certified arborist will help determine which of your trees are most at risk from lightning damage and have our trained technicians install a protection system to keep them safe from lightning damage.

Root Collar Excavation

Root Collar Excavation

Roots wrapped around a tree’s trunk are called ‘girdling roots.’ As the tree and roots grow, the resulting root compression on the tree’s trunk causes a slow and severe restriction on the flow of water and elements up and down the tree. This condition, if left untreated, will cause the tree to decline and it can eventually die. If the tree is not too damaged by the girdling roots, our team can help alleviate the restrictions and nurse your tree back to health with a root collar excavation. Using an air tool, we’ll remove as much mulch and soil as possible without damaging the tree, expose the root collar, and remove and/or server as many damaging roots as possible so your tree can flourish again.

Stump Removal

Stump Removal

We grind out the stump completely, even enough to replant in the same location as necessary. We can leave the grindings as they lie. We can mound the grindings over the ground-out area. We can remove and dispose of all the grindings. We can fill the ground-out area with topsoil. We can seed, mulch, and/or sod, if you please. Just let us know what you prefer and we can take care of it for you.

Tree and Shrub Pruning

Tree and Shrub Pruning

Pruning your trees and shrubs is one of the most important ways to preserve their health and the health of your property. There’s an art to pruning – taking a pair of clippers to your tree or shrub can do more harm than good. Our technicians go through extensive training to adhere to ANSI A300 tree pruning standards. Then, they put that training to work pruning your trees and shrubs safely and correctly, so they stay healthy.

Tree and Shrub Removal

Tree and Shrub Removal

When trees and shrubs eventually die or become a hazard that cannot safely be corrected, they need to be removed. When this occurs, we implement ‘zero-impact tree removal techniques’ where we employ the safest and most effective techniques and equipment available. Once completed, you won’t find any ruts, damage, or tree debris left behind. Just a beautiful property and space for you to enjoy.
